The annual NAB show in Las Vegas is mind boggling. The only shows I've attended that are close would be NAMM and InfoComm. It's been a few years since I've made the trek to Las Vegas for NAB and sadly won't be able to make it this year. I've attended twice in the past, and both times I came away with new knowledge, new ideas, and new tools. While there's nothing quite like being there in person, one can keep up through the web. Here's what I'm looking forward to this year.
- Adobe almost always announces significant new features to the Creative Cloud suite.
- NewTek is pushing their NDI protocol for video over IP really hard. My office is in the middle of a move, and we hope to leverage NDI significantly. I'm expecting news from them.
